One of the most important purposes of the Foundation Dogon Education is to educate locals. With the establishment of the technical school this becomes possible. Foundation Dogon Education sees this as a change to build for a durable future. Good craftsmen from the region are the backbone for future developments. The new craftsmen are getting educated in the school and they are being taught how to cope with sustainable, ecological techniques as well as using indigenous materials.
