Extensive fieldwork, project-based knowledge and strong desire to apply both architecture and planning to enact positive social change in developing countries. I see my formation in architecture and urban planning as an opportunity to reevaluate and reconfigure strategies of intervention in the city, aiming to promote more equitable, inclusive and long-term sustainable environments that respond to context, cultural specificities, and the politics of place, particularly with regard to urban rehabilitation and ‘slum upgrading.’
