With the 60 students and 6 teachers we arrived in Palomino once again to start a new project. The focus was now on the south part of town, across the state road, called "La Sierrita" which refers to the fact that this is the entrance to the Sierra Nevada. This part of Palomino is more focused on nature, and life is different than the other side. After a difficult negotiation with the locals we decided to build a waterless eco-toilet on a private lot, where a communal lunch room for children is run. With funding from national programs Chamaco and his wife Gilma give around 70 children warm lunch each day. They had no toilet or water other than their own.

We build a structure for the toilet, with space for a small library with childrens books. It has a roof for collecting rain water which can be used for the kitchen and so the children can wash their hands.
