A renewed interest for an ethical basis of Architecture together with a rediscovery of semplicity through respect of local buildings and traditions is, for me, of the utmost importance. It is also essential that the quality of the architectural design does not contradict ethics and compliance. A building aiming at improving the quality of life of citizens becomes itself a quality place, a place where attention to detail and respect of traditions and the community is the basees for a good urban enviroment. In my opinion a quality building not only meets functional and economic standards or offers a brilliant spatial layout, but offers the best way to organize social relations.
