I'm an architect from Saudi Arabia and currently reside in Almadina Almunawara. I'm passionate about vernacular green architecture utilizing locally sourced materials such as earth (clay) and stone. I have been an active member in a Tunisian non-profit association called (Groupement Ecologique de Développement Durable or Ecological Group for Sustainable Development Sidi Amor). It has thirty multidisciplinary members (Doctors, Architects, Engineers, Social workers, and many..many more...)and 20+ passionate friendly volunteers, with a network of national (The School of Architecture of Sidi Bousaid) and international associations and institutions such as The Auroville Earth Institute (AVEI)and The "Association la voûte Nubienne".We are now establishing a partnership to transfer the lessons that were learnt in Tunis to Almadina Almunawara.
